Welcome to Real Men, Real Heroes! Formed in January 2007, we are a not-for-profit organization that serves as a mentoring organization, working with youth across racial, ethnic, and socio-economic lines. Our organization is headquartered out of the Atwater Community Center in Wichita Kansas, where our adult and teen members provide mentoring, tutoring and access to role models from various backgrounds and careers. We partner with school districts, municipalities, private-sector companies, nonprofits and other community stakeholders. We help you, help kids. In May 2008, Hero Buddy Shannon was recognized by President Bush with the President's Call to Service Award.
